CrudeOilNow collects minimal data. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address. Our server logs may record your IP address and user agent string for rate limiting and basic security purposes. That's it.

We do not require account creation, and we do not track individual browsing behavior across pages.

How We Use It

Email addresses are used solely to send newsletter updates about oil market prices and commentary. Your IP address is used for rate limiting API requests and preventing abuse — it is not linked to any personal profile.

Oil price data displayed on this site is sourced from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) API and cached on our server. No personal data is involved in fetching or displaying price information.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

Cookies & Third-Party Services

CrudeOilNow does not currently run third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no tracking pixels). This may change in the future, and this page will be updated accordingly.

We load external resources from the following CDNs:

• Google Fonts — for typeface delivery
• Font Awesome — for icon assets

These services may set their own cookies or log requests according to their own privacy policies. We have no control over that.

Your Rights

Newsletter subscription is entirely voluntary. You can unsubscribe by using the unsubscribe option provided in future emails or by contacting us. If you want your email removed from our system, contact us and we'll handle it.
